Yes, we have a group of skilled and reliable medical personnel and trainers available for placement; from Paramedics with recent ‘on-road’ experience, to professional sports trainers with Occupational First Aid, Spinal Injury Management and Pain Management qualifications. Marc recruits directly from his own Professional Sports Medic courses; and those selected then receive ongoing professional development and mentorship to ensure that they are not only competent, but also confident, in the necessary skills required to keep your staff, participants and guests as safe as possible.

Marc is a nationally registered Paramedic; and provides services to the full extent of his professional scope of practice. This includes the use of a range of equipment and medications that require the support of a Medical Practitioner (Doctor) for prescribing and advisory purposes. Marc has developed strategic alliances with a number of other highly qualified medical professionals, including Doctors, Emergency Nursing staff, Physiotherapists and others. If you would like to have a Doctor or Physiotherapist in attendance at your event, we can certainly arrange this for you.

Marc has post-graduate qualifications in strategic leadership (in health and injury management); with more than 30yrs of experience providing advanced pre-hospital emergency care. He has a broad range of national and international accreditations, including Paramedicine (Ambulance), Human Movement Specialist, Emergency Medical Technician, Advanced Life Support (with Pharmacology), Pre-Hospital Trauma Life Support, and Emergency Nursing modules. Marc has worked in a variety of extended contract roles such as Emergency Services Coordinator on a remote site with more than 700 personnel (which included the management, training and coordinated deployment of 137 rescue personnel across 7 crews). He has also worked as clinical lead for emergency response teams in a range of different industries; and continues to work as a remote area Paramedic when he has time, leading and training small emergency response teams as required. Marc has trained over a thousand emergency personnel in advanced medical procedures, and has lectured to Health students at CQUniversity. Marc is currently contracted to Rugby League Mackay District (RLMD), where he supports the first responders from all Junior Rugby League clubs in that district during the Rugby League season. As part of that role, Marc is responsible for planning and coordination of emergency response during events hosted by RLMD. This includes providing advanced emergency care on the grounds. Marc has provided medical management for a range of NRL and QRL events, including for the Brisbane Broncos. In addition, in his capacity as a Paramedic, Marc has provided medical care at weekend events for Football Queensland (Soccer), and for Private School teams participating in the Queensland Rugby Q7s and Western 7s competitions.

Yes, in fact Marc still spends about 35% of his time either working in remote environments himself, or preparing others to do the same. This includes helping advanced first aiders and medics to build the necessary skills to provide extended care in remote or austere environments. Marc and his team can also help you select the right equipment for your needs, by applying the risk management process and advice regarding best practice.
